Michele came to Yoga from a background of athletics and holistic health education. Practicing Yoga since 1990, her initial training began with 15 years of study in the Iyengar Yoga tradition, with emphasis on Yoga Therapeutics. She also incorporated studying a myriad of styles including ashtanga vinyasa flow, anusara, viniyoga and kundalini.  Her most influential teachers include Lisa Walford, Aadil Palkhivala, Manuouso Manos and Maty Ezraty. Her years of studies have also included Classical Yoga and Tantric philosophical education, with a personal practice dedicated to Karma Yoga. 
Michele is a YogaWorks Certified Instructor, Teacher Trainer and Professional Mentor.  Her specialties include Yoga Therapeutics, teaching beginners and inspiring an evolved subtle body practice for the advance student.  Most recently in 2014, she became a Yoga TuneUp® Certified Instructor under the teachings of Jill Miller, and is trained in The Roll Model® method of Therapy Ball rolling massage routines to repair, restore and revitalize the body.  She is an active member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and a Registered Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 instructor with over 5000 hours and 15 years of teaching experience.  She offers public classes, private sessions, workshops, continuing education and retreats to encourage the fulfillment of yoga, health and creative aspirations. Michele teaches at YogaWorks in Marin County, CA.  As a Yoga Instructor, her welcoming approach and attention to individual needs allows students to challenge themselves, let go of old habits and invite new possibilities.  Her classes are vinyasa flow, alignment and therapeutic-based.  Breath, meditation and philosophical insight are interwoven throughout the practice to cultivate a calm, focused mind and an inspired, joyful heart.
