Full Moon Hike & Yoga
Michele Klink
October 6
Friday | 6-9pm
Ring Mountain Preserve, Marin County Open Space*

Yoga brings us closer to nature. From Sanskrit, Hatha Yoga is translated as “sun” (ha) and “moon” (tha). When we tune into nature around us, we naturally move with solar cycles and change with lunar phases, which leads to greater harmony, peace and reverence. Yoga is a tool for self-transformation in our own cycles and phases. Join this October Full Moon Hike to gain greater insight from the teachings of nature.

We will:
Gather with community and meet new friends
Learn the meaning of the number 108
Practice Walking Meditation and Japa Meditation
Enjoy Outdoor Yoga under the nighttime sky

Hike will be moderate uphill. All levels/ages are welcome. Dress in layers for wind and warmth. Please wear good walking shoes and bring a water bottle. No yoga mat needed.

*Meet at 6pm at the Phyllis Ellman Loop Trail (located off Paradise Drive in Corte Madera). There is plenty of street parking near the trail head.
