Throughout my life, I have embraced a health-focused, athletic, and spiritual lifestyle, with a deep love for wildlife and the great outdoors. Yet, my greatest challenge has been learning to navigate life’s highs and lows without being overwhelmed by my emotions. My very first yoga class was a profound awakening revealing a path that gently rooted me in my body, breath, and the present moment. It helped me come home to myself, free from obstacles, limitations, and misconceptions. Beyond that, this grounding practice empowered me to approach life’s challenges with a broader perspective, an open and curious mind, and a patient, loving heart. In that still, grounded moment after my first yoga class, I made a sacred inner promise—to grow, to evolve, to awaken. Guided by the gentle rhythm of yoga, a quiet fire stirred within me, igniting a resolve to transcend the confines of body, mind, and emotion. It was a commitment to evolve, reaching toward a vast horizon of untapped potential and boundless possibility in every corner of my life.
With a fulfilling 35-year career in holistic health and wellness, along with decades of dedicated yoga study, I bring a blend of authentic life experience and deep expertise to all that I offer. My teaching draws from a wide range of styles, including Iyengar-influenced and therapeutic yoga, Ashtanga-Vinyasa flow, Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, and more. As an athlete, I gained a practical understanding of recovery and injury management, which continues to shape my therapeutic approach and supports my ability to guide others on their healing journeys. My roots in yoga philosophy are grounded in over 35 years of study in both Classical and Tantra Yoga traditions. Often referred to as a Teacher’s Teacher, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring and training other yoga instructors for more than 15 years. I hold certifications and credentials including Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500, YACEP, Yoga Therapist (IAYT), Roll Model Method®, and Yoga Teacher Trainer/Mentor, and am also a certified Flower Essence and Reiki Practitioner.
With me, yoga becomes a holistic journey and one that invites balance, focus, and inspiration both on and off the mat. My teachings offer a unique depth and a nurturing space where your inner light can brighten and personal transformation can unfold. Each encounter is an invitation to return to yourself - to move with intention, to listen deeply, and to be fully present. There is a quiet wisdom woven into every class and a sacred space where your divine flame is welcomed, nourished, and free to rise. Blending embodied movement, therapeutic techniques, neuroscience, energy enhancement, and ancient wisdom, I guide you toward a life not only well-lived, but deeply lived - with heart and soul.
Let’s tend to that sacred spark together!
What sets me apart?
My intention is to inspire and strengthen your personal resolve to evolve. I see your potential—body, mind, and spirit—and offer transformative experiences grounded in deep knowledge and compassionate care. For me, yoga is far more than physical movement; it’s a science, an art, and a powerful path to healing and wholeness.
With over 25 years of dedicated study and practice, my approach integrates detailed yoga asana, anatomy, therapeutics, functional movement, neuromuscular repatterning, yin and restorative yoga, subtle body work, neuroscience, somatic psychology, and yoga philosophy. This broad expertise enables me to guide with precision, sensitivity, and purpose.
As a teacher’s teacher for more than 15 years, I’ve mentored countless instructors toward confident, knowledgeable teaching. As a yoga therapist, I’ve supported numerous athletes and collaborated with healthcare professionals to prevent injury, aid recovery, and promote sustainable, optimal performance helping people return to their favorite activities and sports.
In my classes, you’ll find intelligent sequencing, anatomical alignment, and therapeutic modifications that balance safety with depth. Expect longer-held postures, core integration, and a breath-led, meditative vinyasa flow, enriched by verbal cues that cultivate embodiment and awareness.
What makes my teaching unique is the fusion of technique, music and soul. I weave meaningful storytelling, yoga philosophy, mindfulness, and positive psychology to enrich your practice and your life beyond the mat. My goal is to create a nurturing, inclusive space where your practice becomes a source of inspiration, and joy.
My aim is to honor exactly where you are right now while gently guiding you toward transformation and healing. The artistry in my teaching shines through theme-based storytelling that inspires both your practice and your life beyond the mat. Each class is thoughtfully layered to encourage a deep, inward experience through mindfulness and positive psychology. I also weave in yoga philosophy, grounding the practice in its rich, timeless traditions.
Above all, I teach from the heart with love, kindness, and deep respect for your journey.
